About us

Riverhead Fireworks is run by volunteers on behalf of 3rd Sevenoaks (Riverhead & Dunton Green) Scout Group. Our displays have been entertaining local families for over 25 years and it has become a valued community event. All profits from the displays go towards ensuring that our Beavers, Cubs, Explorer Scouts, Scouts and new Squirrels group can continue to enjoy the magic of Scouting.

 

We have a very active community in Sevenoaks, with 20 Beavers (6 – 8 years), 70 Cubs (8 – 10 ½ years), 90 Scouts (10 ½ - 14 years) and 25 Explorer Scouts (14 – 18 years) currently enrolled. Last autumn we added a brand-new Squirrels (4-6 years) group to our Scouting family. Behind the scenes are over 30 volunteers who generously give up their time to run groups, camps and other activities for our young people to enjoy.

 

We also run Riverhead Carnival each September for the enjoyment of our local community.
